Week 1: God Is Good
Scripture: Psalm 34:8, Romans 8:32 Summary: God is good by nature — not only when life feels good.
Discussion questions:
- When did you last doubt God's goodness? What triggered it?
- How is "God is good" different from "God gives me what I want"?
- Where have you seen His goodness in the last month — even subtly?
Application: Name one goodness you noticed today. Text it to the group.
Week 2: Salvation Creates Joyful Identity
Scripture: 2 Corinthians 5:17, Romans 8:1 Summary: You are a new creation. Identity is rooted in Christ, not performance.
Discussion questions:
- What identity label have you struggled to release?
- Where do you still earn acceptance instead of receiving it?
- What would change if you lived as "already accepted"?
Application: Write one identity declaration. Speak it aloud daily this week.
Week 3: Responsive to Grace
Scripture: Titus 2:11-12, Romans 6:14 Summary: Grace trains us. It empowers change — it doesn't excuse stagnation.
Discussion questions:
- Have you experienced grace as permission or as power?
- Where is grace inviting you to grow right now?
- What shame message contradicts grace in your story?
Application: One growth step you've been avoiding — name it, take it.
Week 4: Focused on His Presence
Scripture: Psalm 16:11, Exodus 33:14 Summary: First ministry is to God. Presence precedes productivity.
Discussion questions:
- What distracts you most from God's presence?
- When do you feel most aware that God is with you?
- How could your daily rhythm create more space for presence?
Application: Add 5 minutes of undistracted presence daily.
Week 5: Creating Healthy Family
Scripture: Romans 12:10, 1 Timothy 5:1-2 Summary: We build loyal, honour-filled community that restores and empowers.
Discussion questions:
- Who is your spiritual family right now?
- Where is community unhealthy or performative?
- What does "honour" look like practically this week?
Application: Reach out to one person you've neglected. Encourage specifically.
Week 6: God's Word Transforms
Scripture: 2 Timothy 3:16, John 5:39-40 Summary: Scripture leads to relationship with the Author — not just information.
Discussion questions:
- Do you read the Bible to know God or to complete a task?
- What verse has transformed you — not just informed you?
- What blocks consistent scripture engagement?
Application: Try Lectio Divina on one verse this week (read 3x, listen, pray).
Week 7: God Is Still Speaking
Scripture: 1 Samuel 3:10, John 10:27 Summary: God communicates. We learn discernment in community.
Discussion questions:
- How have you heard God in the past?
- What makes you sceptical or afraid of hearing Him now?
- How do we test impressions without quenching the Spirit?
Application: Journal one impression. Submit to one mature believer for discernment.
Week 8: Jesus Empowers Supernatural Ministry
Scripture: Mark 16:17-18, Acts 1:8 Summary: Signs follow believers. The Spirit empowers ordinary people.
Discussion questions:
- What is your experience with supernatural ministry?
- Where has fear or cynicism shut down expectation?
- What would "stepping out" look like for you this month?
Application: Pray for one person for healing or encouragement. Offer simply.
Week 9: His Kingdom Is Advancing
Scripture: Matthew 6:10, Daniel 2:44 Summary: God is victorious. We partner with mercy, justice, and transformation.
Discussion questions:
- Where do you see Kingdom advance in your sphere?
- Where have you retreated when you should engage?
- What injustice or brokenness is God asking you to address?
Application: One act of justice, mercy, or advocacy this week.
Week 10: Free and Responsible
Scripture: Galatians 5:1, 13 Summary: Freedom is for love and service — not licence or fear.
Discussion questions:
- Where do you still live as a slave (fear, approval, addiction)?
- What responsibility is freedom calling you into?
- How do self-control and love work together?
Application: Set one boundary that protects your freedom.
Week 11: Honour Affirms Value
Scripture: 1 Peter 2:17, Romans 12:10 Summary: Every person bears God's image. Honour is given before it's earned.
Discussion questions:
- Who is hardest for you to honour? Why?
- When have you felt genuinely honoured?
- How does tall poppy syndrome attack honour culture?
Application: Publicly honour one person who won't expect it.
Week 12: Generous Like My Father
Scripture: 2 Corinthians 9:7, Luke 6:38 Summary: Generosity reflects God's nature and breaks scarcity fear.
Discussion questions:
- Where are you generous? Where are you guarded?
- What scarcity lie do you believe about time, money, or energy?
- What extravagant generosity could you practice this week?
Application: One gift — time, money, encouragement — that costs you something.
Week 13: Hope in a Glorious Church
Scripture: Ephesians 5:25-27, Matthew 16:18 Summary: The Church will fulfil her mission. We build legacy with long-term hope.
